James Frew kindly donate £100.00 to McLaughlin & Harvey Construction Ltd sponsoring Youth Beatz, one of the biggest Youth and Music festivals in Scotland. The aim of this festival is to provide a safe and friendly environment where young people can enjoy music and have access to a wide range of youth services. The services offered aim to help build new skills and encourage building self-esteem and confidence.
Youth Beatz is a free event for those aged between 12-25 and attracts 12,000 young people from across Scotland every year. Due to being run entirely by volunteers, sponsorship and donations are heavily relied upon to keep the festival so successful.
Claire Biggar, Site Administrator of McLaughlin & Harvey Construction Ltd, said: "McLaughlin & Harvey Construction, along with their supply chain, are proud to be providing sponsorship for Youth Beatz 2017. We would like to extend a big thank you for the generous donation provided by James Frew for £100."
"Youth Beatz is a wonderful event which helps young people in Dumfries & Galloway gain confidence, new skills and enjoy a music event in a safe and controlled environment, all of which would not be possible without the kind donations / sponsorships provided to the charity. Anti-social behaviour in Dumfries & Galloway has dropped significantly over the years since Youth Beatz has been in operation and is proving to be successful year on year."
