Amateur football team Hurlford AFC celebrate brand new sponsored shirts with a 4-1 win against Shortlees recently. James Frew Ltd have been sponsoring the team for just over two years, and this year the black, grey and yellow shirts proudly display a large white James Frew logo across the chest.
Wearing the strip appreciatively this season is striker Frazer Black, a GasSure Gas engineer. Frazer has worked his way up within James Frew after starting as an apprentice in 2011. Frasers dad, Gordon Black, also plays an important part in the management team for Hurlford AFC as well as working as a Project Manager in James Frew.
"Hurlford AFC are delighted to be sponsored by James Frew for the third consecutive season. With costs continually rising, amateur clubs are reliant on sponsorship perhaps more now than ever before and we can't thank James Frew enough for their continued support. We hope to continue doing them proud both on and off the park and that our relationship continues for many years to come." said Marc Ross, Hurlford AFC Manager.
Jason Walsh, Commercial Director, James Frew, added, ''James Frew Ltd and GasSure are thrilled to continue their involvement with Hurlford AFC which has seen them promoted from the lower leagues all the way into the Premier League this season where they currently sit third and only one point behind the top spot.
It has been a delight to watch how the team's manager Marc Ross has developed the team over the years, winning titles and playing great football. Not to mention the added bonus of having two James Frew employees, Gordon Black and Frazer Black as part of the team set up.
We at James Frew and GasSure would like to take this opportunity to wish Hurlford AFC all the best this new season, in what is a very tough league, we are sure they will rise to the challenge as they always have done.''
