A huge welcome to the latest intake of James Frew Apprentices for 2018.
Over 250 applications were received in response to the Plumbing Apprenticeship advert, and after careful consideration, online tests and interviews, ten new recruits have now joined the existing apprentices.
The apprentices will now embark on the successful four-year tailor-made Modern Apprenticeship, which incorporates the Plumbing Vocational Qualification alongside other industry qualifications important to the business. The programme gives the opportunity of achieving a national recognizable qualification by gaining on the job training and attending classes at the newly launched ‘James Frew Academy’ at West College Scotland Paisley Campus.
The new recruits will join the company’s existing 23 apprentices who are all at various stages of the programme. They include Josh Burns, 19 and Darren Campbell, 34 from Paisley, Reece Colquhoin, 17 from Kilwinning, Callum Dawson, 18 from Ayr, Cameron Norwood, 17 from Saltcoats, Andrew Neil, 18 from Kilmarnock, Josh O’Neill, 18 from Greenock, Luke Priestly, 18 from Irvine, Callum Robertson, 18 from Glasgow and Paisley Moore, 16 from Dumfries.
James Frew would like to wish all new recruits Good Luck.
