Operations Director Appointed

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Gordon Mack to the Board as Operations Director.

Gordon has embraced the values of the James Frew Way and worked innovatively and productively to embed these values within all aspects of his work. Gordon joined the organisation back in November 2020, initially as IT Manager. Gordon quickly impressed and in May 2022, was promoted to Head of Operations within our MIE (Maintenance, Installations and Electrical) business unit.

Gordon has led significant change within MIE through the development of staff, implementation of fresh approaches and business processes, and introduced new work streams which have helped transform the business unit.

Managing Director Roddy Frew said: “I am delighted to welcome Gordon to the James Frew Board of Directors. He is well equipped to contribute positively to the work of the Board and together with Andrew, Alan and myself, as a team, we can continue to improve, enhance and grow James Frew Ltd and in doing so, ensure a bright future for the company.”

Gordon said: I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to join the Board of Directors at James Frew. Over the past few years, I have gained a very good understanding of how we operate across all business units. I have always believed in respectfully challenging current practices and process to try and find and more effective and efficient way of doing things, and I hope to continue this work in my new role.”

Roddy added: “We are constantly looking to innovate and identify new ways to boost productivity and improve efficiencies and we have demonstrated this recently through a number of technology led initiatives. I firmly believe this approach has helped separate ourselves from our competitors, and I am looking forward to working closely with Gordon to progress these opportunities as we advance forward.”
